I just realized growing up sucks!!!  lol.  I am 17 and my high school graduation is today.  I don't want to go at all for some reason.  I guess just cause I still wanna be a kid.  Oooooh well too late now.  Off to college in the fall and then I gotta really become an adult.  I don't know.  Just venting sorry if this bothers anyone.  Later on
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer with his buddies for a lifetime.

Well I remember when I was in your place. I never really had thoes feelings untill I got in college. Now 4 years later I have one degree and working on my second with 2 years left to go and an wanting out bad. There isn't a day goes by that I don't miss being little and playing in the mud and the only concern I had was being late for dinner. It sucks, but welcome to life, it never gets easyer.

I feel for you too, man. I spent two years of college out in heart of Philadelphia, about a stones throw from West Philly, and not necessarily the city's best side showing, either.
Without a regular subscription coming in from Fur-Fish-Game and the Trapper, I would have gone nuts. Walked down to a local watering hole one night with my buddies, and we saw a possum skirting across a trash-strewn yard. I stood and watched it rummage around for several minutes until it was out of sight. Had a coon another night raid the dumpsters out behind the school kitchen, and I watched it under the alley lights for some time, too.
Even in the midst of what was not habitat by any stretch, wildlife was around me enough to keep my spirits up.
The trade off for the time you spend on your education generally translates to a well-paying career...which of course means you can have some jingle in your pockets to buy toys and pay for hobbies.
It's worth it. Hang in there, get some magazine subscriptions, surf outdoor websits, hit the forums, and you'll get through this next stage of your life just fine...trust me.

Bowman,  Ain't nobody hated high school worse than I did,
But I loved college!  I would have stayed there studying classical piano music  music theory, and english composition till I died, but for the money thing.
Yup, if I were rich there is nothing I would rather do nor anyplace I would rather be than U.T. in Austin. No one will tell you to put your shirt tail in, or how to dress or cut your hair.  It is as far removed from the mindlessness,
and pettyness of high school as it is possible to be.                                         It is time to free your mind.  Enjoy it.                        Luck Knife

Man I loved my senior year in High School. Had some of my finest moments then. But I hate college. Community college was ok but this 4 year institution sucks. I am going to another school next year, I only hope it gets better than this. I can safely say that this has been the worst year to date.

My senior year was awesome.  Goin to school to just hang otu with friends not have to worry about class was great.  I am excited bout college.  Its just the freedom that scares me to death for some reason.  I would give anythign to start over in about 1st grade.  It was soo much fun.  I am still goin to school in the mountains of WV soo wildlife and rednecks should eb in no shortage.  lol
