I think I saw some of those posted for sale on the sixgunner board but I could be wrong. Also Scott Koler with SK grips might be able to point you in the right direction.

I bought one a while back from Wildsports in Orangevale Ca.  They had two more at that time.  That was about 5 weeks ago.
They didn't have them marked up.  You might give them a call.  They are just on the outskirts of Sacramento, in the 916 area code.

Let me add to my last post.
I'm a packer, horse and mule type packer.  This revolver has replaced several others as my carry gun in the back country.  Stoked with 300gr Cor-Bon ammo, I have no doubt that it will take down anything that gives me trouble.
I did a smooth and tune job on it, and have the trigger sitting on 4 lbs.  Off of a rest, it shoots one hole groups at 25 yards when I do my part.  To say that this is a sweat shooting revolver is a huge understatement.
I've run over 500 rounds of 255gr cowboy ammo down the tube, and have had a blast with it.
It is replacing a 6" SS Python...  Believe me, it has to be good for me to leave my python at home.

I am not a FFL holder so I have to receive handguns thru a Virginia FFL holder.

Thanks JSR.  I have an order in with a Virginia FFL guy (Quantico Marine Corps Base, where I work).  He has the info that you passed to me.  Rules are a little different here, only one firearm within a 30 day period!  I have 22 days left before I can buy another.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.

I have the same gun in .44 Mag.  There was a number that went with the AccuSport designation (I don't remember what) but my dealer was able to order one from AccuSport for me.

Been trying to PM JSR & macbullet, but not working for me today.

I checked with online maps to find Eden, NC.  It is 234 miles from me (4hrs 55min).  Will make a good weekend trip.  I will call Jeff and ask him how he has to handle his Virginia customers. Thank you very much for thinking of me.  I will get one of these guns.

Ray's Bait has them in stock.  Recieved 75 or so this week.  Have had my name on another from him for a while now.  Should be here next week.

Is Ray's Bait a big gun shop?  To receive 75 of the same hard to get gun.
Ray's is in Eden, NC.

Never actually been there so I can't comment on the shop's size.  Last batch he reportedly got in 100 of them. I bought my 45 Hunter from him and have nothing but positive things to say about the service there.   If Acusport is like other distributors, they allocate out items based on previous customer sales.  So if ray's does alot of business with AcuSport, they'll get the choice offerings when they come around.

Great!  My second should be here Thursday or Friday.  I'm keeping this one as a "safe queen" for now.  The first one I hope to work up some good loads for before hunting w/ it this fall.

I've got the same one in .41......couldn't be happier! This one's a keeper. I'd like to find the same thing in .357........or maybe a full size .32mag with adj sights, not the cowboy model.

They don't currently offer one of these in .357 although I've heard/read rumor that one is due.  I'd be doubtful that we'll see this line include one in .32 however nice it would be.  Wish I'd gotten one of the non "K" .32 Bisleys when I had the chance.

« Reply #24 on: May 11, 2004, 09:57:54 PM »
I just got an accusport in .45 colt from Raysbait, added a belt mountain pin and dropped a leg on the trigger spring and just couldn't be happier.

I've purchased a big box of 275 grn cast WLFN LBTs at 15 brinnell and I want to push them about 1050 fps.

I'm thinking of starting with 10 grains of unique, since I've got a bunch of it. Think that'll get me close? I'll switch to lilgun or H110 if I want a supersonic load, I'm looking for a general purpose load for deer and such that's still comfortable enough to practice with. I don't have access to a chronograph and just want to make sure this load would be reliably subsonic. Can anybody tell me about what pressure and velocity I could expect? Any other pet loads? TIA....

That's purty Mike.

I'm up to 10.3 grains behind the hunters supply 275s crimped in the groove and still subsonic, stout though, still comfortable with one hand with that excellent grip shape.

Anyone know of any of the .41 and/or .44 models that go with the .45?  Got 2 of the 45s but would like the others eventually.

Also, any word on other chamberings becoming available.  I had ehard a .357 model was due but nothing since.

I think I might have gotten the last 44 in the country as Ruger took them off their website the day after I got mine.    I'll keep my eyes open for one.
