Digital camcorder question

What does a digital camcorder record on ??   Tape, card, disk??  If any of the above, how do you know witch Size ( for a lack of a better term)  it takes?

Yes. Tape, DVD, or memory card.

Recording time will vary depending on the unit and the media. One with more resolution (pixels) will use more media faster.  You'll have to check the manufacturers specs.

Can you copy directly to a VCR????   or watch it on TV straight from the camera?
