Variety is fun isn't it?

I have two .17 HMR rifles, a CZ and a Ruger 77/17, much more accurate than the .22 rimfire LR, cleaner too, and kicks about the same as a .22 LR.  But I also love my military rifles, even my hard kicking Mauser 98 in 8 MM offers a change from the small bores.

The nice thing about the variety is it makes life more interesting! :D

It's a craze alright, the stores around where I live can't keep
them in stock. The local Walmart sold out it's entire stock
in just a couple of days after receiving them!
Ammo is snapped up just about as quick.
I am going to introduce some of the local garbage can
raiders to mine very soon!

I really want to see a .14 MAGNUM RIMFIRE now!

Sounds like a new .17 in a semi-auto handgun maybe on the way too soon I hope?? I've been holding off buying a new .22 handgun and would rather have something new?                                BigBill

I did see that caliber in a CZ rifle if I remember correctly it was the longest barrel in the rack too.

There are some handguns already chambered for the .17 Hornady
I Think.
I have also seen a High Standard semi auto chambered for
the .17 Aguila (Another new .17 caliber rimfire).
I don't think it has reached full production yet though.

Even a single action with a 12" long barrel would be nice too?? I thought this was a brand new caliber but I guess I have been out of the modern gun loop for quite some time too busy smellin cosmo??  I been looking at different gun manufacturers sites ans boy have prices changed on modern stuff??  I can remember a while back when my 444 marlin cost me $145?  WOW I should of put my cash into guns back then instead of the stockmarket?                                                       BigBill

Sorry I bought my 444 back in the mid 70's thats almost 30 years ago I just don't know where the time has gone?

Anythiing under 6.5 mm just tends to piss off your enemy. Take the money you would spend on a CZ .17 and buy a nice 'o3 Springfield.
