Bushnell 3200 vs Bushnell Legend
« on: June 08, 2004, 11:06:50 AM »
By the way, thanks guys for the input on the Simmons scopes.  Now I have another question.  Seems I have read somewhere that the Bushnell 3200 and the Legend are basically the same except for the special fog proof coating on the 3200 lens.  What do you think

It appears that the Legends have a 91% light transmission, whereas the 3200 has 88%.  This is kinda odd given that the 3200 is a bit more expensive.  The 3200, on the other hand, has rainguard and I think it has a one-piece tube, whereas the Legend, I think, has a 2 piece tube.

Also, the 3200 comes with a lifetime warranty, while the Legend doesn't.

I recommend the 3200.
