Barrell quality & bonded bullets
« on: June 08, 2004, 02:12:10 PM »
Would you still have a problem with barrell fouling with bonded bullets if your barrell was high quality and very smooth? Also, I've read that if you are going to shoot coated bullets you should only shoot coated bullets and not switch back and forth. Is this correct.--------Thank you vernonp

I would think that you are on track here.  The smoother a barrel the less fouling should occur.  But still, I think much of the time the bullet is the culprit.
