RdFx, since you won't be more than a stone's throw from Northern Michigan, too, be sure and keep your eye's peeled for big kitties along the roadside on way up there.
And, since you will be downwind of all of us (prevailing gulf current flows up and clockwise pumping moist air up through the midwest to that neck of woods) be sure and hang some air fresheners in your ride....no sense in your ride picking up the smells of Wacky's ride just 'cause you are path of air flow from his ride).

Oh yes, to be in line with requested tips, make your sets in the area and on the side of trail that prevailing winds flow toward during season. Imagine if you were a critter and which side of the trail would the wind blow toward so that you could readily pick up the smell. That is same side that you either plant your set, or park Wacky's truck on.
