Hmmm. I've also heard they will/are making foster deer slugs out of hevishot. My question is do they expand? I'd like to see the saboted rounds used on those hogs! For hogs and bears and other dangerous game I think they'd be the ticket. If I was a guide in Alaska and had a shotgun backup or was just hunting big grizzly's I'd definitely be looking into them.
But for whitetail I'd like to see how they expand or know if they just blow a hole right through.
