anyone see the new hornady sabot?
It has a stem that you attach up to 3 pyrodex pellets and then just slide the hole thing in the barrel.
does the stem melt or alter the flight of the sabot/ bullet before they separate.

From what I understand it is no different than any other sabot. It separates as it leaves the barrel. I have shot them and did not experience any accuracy problems. It is very quick for a fast reload if needed. I have a bunch of power belts to shoot up and may consider switching. But I am having great success with the power belts. I also had very good accuracy with the hornady sabot.
