Stevens 58 D Triggerguard HELP!!!

Help please guys,
   I got an old Stevens 58D in 12 ga that has a broken trigger guard. This is the same as 58DAC, 18D,18DAC. The triggerguard is aluminum and also supports the  sear. Anyone got one I will gladly buy it. It is for or retired sheriff and he is a great guy. Any and all help much appreciated. I have tried all the normal sources like GP, Numrich, Jack First etc. This is part #44 in the Numrich catalog.

I will check the parts trays but don't believe I have anything like that.  Where is the guard broken??  Aluminum can be welded either with a MIG or a TIG.  Perhaps it can be fixed mechanically.    Good luck!
