very intresting encore!!!???

i was looking at a predator hunting book and saw a very intresting encore.
i had a short barrel. it was not a pistil barrel because it loked about 18-20". it had a standerd wood stock and a simmons aetec scope. can any body tell me what this was????
p.s the barrel had a very bull :wink: bull :wink: barrel. looked 'bout as fat as a 1'' dowel.

Was it just a full bull barrel..........no taper straight tube or was it a barrel stub project where they cut the barrel very short, cut threads in the outside muzzle end and screw a bigger diameter barrel over it.

With all of the custom options available for the Encore it is virtually impossible to guess what you saw!   :)
