I just bought my first military rifle. - An all original model 96 Carl Gustaf. I loaded up a few 150 gr hornadys with IMR 4895 powder and the accuracy was amazing to me. Three shot groups could be covered with a quarter at 50 yards. Now I have a problem. All the serial #s match and I hate to start tapping the receiver, bending the bolt, and cutting the barrel. I would like to at least replace the straight stock with a pistol grip. Does anyone have any suggestions for a sporter stock that can be used without devaluing the rifle? I guess an alternative would be to trade this rifle to a collector for one that has already been sporterized.
