Is getting a C&R FFL really a good idea?

Pros and cons to having one.

Pros are you can buy C&R guns out of State or locally with very little hassle. The list of C&R guns is quite long and includes a number of fairly modern arms. It eliminates the FFL middle man.

If you buy a lot of C&R guns now and want to purchase direct from out of State it's a good deal. If you only make an occasional local purchase it probably isn't worth the effort.

The cons are that you are subject to compliance inspections and you must maintain good records of all purchases and sales. If you don't care for book work don't get a C&R.

The C&R isn't for every gun owner but for some of us it works quite well.

The main con is that you have to develop tremendous willpower to keep your credit cards from getting maxed out! :)
