guess the gun. it's a revolver.

ok, guys, time to identify a gun. it's marked US on the upper end of the side of the handles and is old. no marks for caliber, but is marked as us arms co (I'll check that again.) and there is a serial number, I'll have that soon. might be .22 or .25 bore, and is a revolver.

I think we're gonna need a little more of a description than that.  We're good, but we're not clairvoyant!

Are we talking about a single action, DA, or what?  It sounds like an old 22 revolver, but we're going to need some better clues.

Is it a top break model?  Sounds like a US Revolver Co.  I have one in .32 S&W. I'm not sure but I think they were made by ivory Johnson.
