anybody use one of these?Whats the trigger like?And how accurate are they?

Are you refering to the new Stevens Favorite, or the originals? I've had no exposure to the new ones, but the old ones were fine little guns. The triggers were never in the class of expensive guns, but good anyway. Likewise the accuracy wasn't target quality, but we're not talking target rifles. They were an above average gun, for a below average price.

I used to have a model 73 or 74, forget which one, and I thought it was just a little too light for any serious accuracy. The transfer bar kinda rattled around and the trigger would make it go bang, but it certainly wasn't conducive to accuracy.

I saw one today at Bass Pro for about $249, but they were only $100 when I had mine.

Now I have an AR 7 instead, but I may try a NEF rimfire.

Marlinman93, I have a favorite, .22rf(1889-1890) ser.#P2 that will shoot 1" groups at 50yds.(iron sights naturally) even with 62 year old eyes. The stock is very short for me though(probally a youth model). It is a take down model. When I was young, I used to be able to pop a meadowlark's head off at about 25 yds.(Illegal). Pat
