Just Starting Reloading Shotshells
« on: January 11, 2003, 03:42:44 AM »
Similar to my first experience with rifle caliber reloading I started with a Lee set up, the Load All II.  I am quite satisfied with the look of my first batch of shells.  The Lee product has a lot of plastic, in fact its mostly plastic but it seems to load good looking ammunition.  Shooting it this afternoon will tell the rest of the story.  It was hard to find components, and almost impossible to find shot. I searched quite hard for a trap and clay birds finally finding them at different WalMarts last weekend.  Hopefully it was just the time of the year.  I have found 4 different used MEC Loaders, so if this turns out to be the hobby I hope it will become, perhaps by the end of the month I will invest in one of them.  Ken
