Source for .360 bullets?
« on: July 16, 2004, 05:07:17 AM »
Does anyone know a manufacturer who can supply .360 bullets, 170 grain or heavier, for .38 S&W loads? Liberty Shooting Supplies in Oregon used to supply them, but they have recently ceased casting operations.

You could get a bump-up die from Corbin, and just enlarge .357-.358 bullets. Another option would be to have NEI make you what you need in a mould and get a local caster to do them with your supplied mould/moulds(talk to them before you order the mould).

Thanks for the responses. What's a bump up die? I know next to nothing about bullet casting, by the way.

A bump-up die is a swaging die that will make cast bullets larger when they are pressed into the die. A ram in place of the shellholder in a press causes the bullet to expand radialy whan forced in the die
