Bow Value?
« on: July 11, 2004, 02:36:15 PM »
Hello everyone,

I found a Bear Kodiak recurve at the local trade market today. It appears to have been well cared for - no stress cracks or twisting. It is AMO - 60" , 60#, right handed, Gainesville. It is laminated wood with leather and (bearhair?) on the rest. It also has a heavier type string than what I have seen before on older bear recurves. It has 3 mounting holes on the side, just below the gold colored bear emblem. Some questions - is this just a base model kodiak? It only says kodiak - not hunter, deluxe, magnum, etc. I just had to buy it - the man only wanted $60 for it, and said he paid over $350 for it new, although I don't really know if he did or not. Thanks for any info on this bow!
The intruder turns around slowly, sees both barrels, and hears a low-deep voice say "Son, the left one's iron and the right one's steel, if the left one don't get you, the right one will"
