John Kerry is walking down the street and comes accross this little girl with a basket full of brand new kittens. She has a sign on her basket "Free to a Good Home". He askes the little girl if they are good Democrate kittens or Republican kittens. The little girl says "why sir they are Democrate kittens."
A few weeks later Kerry takes his new running mate John Edwards to see the little girl with the kittens. Sure enough she is still there with her little basket of kittens trying to give them to a good home. Kerry says to Edwards "check this out, this is how America's young people realy feel about us." Kerry asks the little girl " are your kittens Good Democrats or Republicans?" And the little girl replies "Why sir they a Republican kittens" Kerry feeling a little embarrassed says but ,but,but, but just a few weeks ago you told me that your kittens were Democrate kittens. The little girl looks at Kerry and says "Yes but, that was before they opened their eyes".
