My Henry is now a shooter!!

I bought a Henry lever action a year or so ago and was unable to get under 3" groups at 50 yds with it.  I e-mailed the company and they asked me to return it to them so they could re-crown the muzzle.  I live in Canada and didn't want to go through the problems that always seem to occur with Canada Customs.  I took it to a local gunsmith and had it re-crowned.  The results are amazing!
   With Lapua Super Club ammo I shot six - 5 shot groups averaging 0.68" at 50 yds.  seven groups of Lapua Trainer averaged 0.76".  I have 2 Anschutz target rifles that don't do much better than that.  I used a 4X Bushnell scope.

Groups typical of Henry levers my 22 mag will do the same I have a leupold 4 x compact on mine. I suppose the crown got dinged some how before you got it. Glad you got it fixed though Henry would have fixed it for nothing but I can see your concerns crossing borders ect. Glad to hear you like it I sure do my Magnum! Jim
