PJ - if I'm following your progress correctly, it looks like your BR has a craving for the lighter weigh tips. If you ever need an excuse to shoot more, I'm curious how your barrel shoots 2 more shots in a string. My 6mmBr seems to throw (just a little farther) shots 4 and 5 out. Have you set your bullet depth yet w/ the rounds you shot - or is that accuracy move yet to happen? Keep posting your results, if nobody else I'm taking notes. :D

great, thats good grouping. did you shoot that with H322? man, the weather sucks here. i gotta form some 6tcu, work more loads for the 6br, try out the riflescope on the .223. so much to do. can't wait for just a little break in the weather. uh, oh! i'll have to fish then too! sure would be nice to be rich and just do that stuff all the time. work is depressing. :)  ah, but life is good. always something to look forward too. :D

bullet seating depth ?
« Reply #3 on: January 17, 2003, 05:57:08 PM »
yeah, do you seat your bullets out next to the lands? i do on the 6br and 7-08. but on the 6tcu factory barrel, i can't reach them with the bullets i've loaded. maybe i could with a 80gr nosler bt, but i havn't tried yet. kinnda curious how that 6tcu will do with about .100" bullet jump. fingers crossed. :D

Sorry,I forgot to list the load data...
The load was...28.6grs of H322 with the 80gr Blitz OAL2.121
I think the 80gr bullets are about my stoping point with a 1 in 12 twist rate. The 60gr bullets so far are the most accurate.I'll see what the 75gr V-Max bullets will do.I have not played much with the OAL I'll mess around alittle with it and see if it shoots any better.
