Does anyone out there have any knowledge/experience with the Ramshot line of optics? I stumbled on them in a gun rag the other day and subsequently looked them up on the web. They seem to have a well thought out design. I e-mailed the company and was told that the scopes are made in Japan of Japanese components. The vertical adjustment on the tube is designed with 2/3 of elevation above "zero". (80 in of total adjustment) I thought the VARTAC looked very promising with the exception of the weight (24.5 oz)
