I have found that a good rule of thumb is to reduce a "normal" b/p or pyrodex load by about 10 grains with triple 7.  This stuff is very hot as you will see on the Hodgden site.

577-450 Bertram brass, Winchester large rifle primers, 65 grains by weight of  Triple 7 FFG, a filler mix of 5 grains of Triple 7ffg and Cream of Wheat on top of the main charge for an equivelent load of 90 grains of FFg black powder. Two discs of waxed paper as a lube barrier .460/460 grain Coyoté hollow base bullet, and  plenty of crimp.

Oops, muzzle loaders huh.  Triple 7 had to have been made just for cartridges.

I use 120 grains 777 ffg in a 22" Knight Bighorn with 250 grain Barnes.  2 1/2 inches high at 100 yds, 1 1/4 low at 150 , and 7 3/4 low at 200 yds.   I was using 110 grains pyrodex pellets last year.  Switched to 100 grains 777 and couldn't get the consistency I got with the pellets.  Ended up going up to 120 grains 777 and got great results.

90 grains of FF T7 behind a Hornady 460 GPB. Kicks something awful in the lighter rifles but shoots under 2" at 100 yards in one of my inlines and is something to behold on deer.

Been using 70gr.with a .495 PRB in a.50 cal 1:66 twist.  20grs. in my .32 green mountain barrel, no fouling like BP in this small caliber.
