COPPER AND LEAD FOULING COLOR

I have been shooting lead and jacketet bullets in my 45/70 rolling block, but not in the same shooting session. Today I shot some paper patch bullets that shot very well. When I cleaned the barrel with Birchwood Casey solvent I get a blue green color on the patch after I  let the bore soak for about an hour. Could this be copper  from the jacketed bullets that didn't come out from an earlier session?

Yes,  Blue-green is the usual color of copper fouling.  Just keep in mind that if you're using a brass patch holder or brush, you will get the blue-green color on your patch too.
