I saw 22" 20ga. barrel on eBay. Since that is what I have on my pardner the wheels started to turn. I could buy this barrel, have it drilled and tapped for a scope and have a great little slug gun. And the price being bid so far on the barrel was more than reasonable. So I e-mailed the seller (a gun shop) to see if they could do the work if I won the bid.
They told me they would gladly drill and tap for $15.00 per hole plus @$7.00 for the Weaver base. This would be over $50.00, then you include the cost of the barrel and shipping. I was considering doing this.
Then I took my pardner with the bead front sight to the range a put 5 Winchester slugs into a 6" pie plate at 50 yards. My mind was made up then and there. I'll spend the money for something else as my little Pardner is just fine for hunting as is.
