Cabelas Outfitter Arrows
« on: August 06, 2004, 05:28:13 AM »
I was looking at the Cabelas catalog and noticed their new Outfitter arrows.  These are carbon shafts that are coated with a camo material called Buff Tuff.  They say that this makes the arrow stronger and heavier.  Previously I have stayed away from carbon arrows because of a lack of weight but these shafts are 13 grains per inch.

Does anyone have any experience with these arrows?

I have never used those particulair arrows but I have had experience with other store brands like that.  My experience was not to pleasing.  i would say go to a shop somewhere or order yourself some Carbon Express out of Cabelas.  They also use the bufftuff and weigh in at 11 gpi if you get the terminator selects.  Good tuff straight arrow.  You couldn't go wrong.
