Hastings Rifled Barrel

My new slug barrel arrived via FEDEX today.  Like my hero, Bob K, I bought a Hastings for my 12 gauge 11-87.  Tried four different sabot slugs (all 2 3/4 inch) this afternoon.  The results at 100 yards (5 shots each):

-Lightfield Hybred EXP: 4 inch group.
-Federal Classic Hydra-Shok HP: 2 1/2 inch group, 2 fliers (although, they were touching, so maybe it was a < 1" group w 3 fliers!).
-Federal Premium Barnes Expander: 3 inch group, 1 flier.
-Winchester Supreme: 2 1/2 inch group, 1 flier.

Fliers were within 5 inches.  They might have been caused by the barrel heating up (I got a little enthusiastic).  The Winchesters nearly dislocated my shoulder.

Anyone have any slugs to suggest?

I bought a Hastings Fully Rifled barrel with the Cantilever Scope Mount for my 870 three years ago...Very good investment.

I shoot 2 3/4" Brenneke KO Sabots out of it...Very accurate and they group well.  The kick is not too bad so the flinch factor is relatively low.

Do they deposit lead in the barrel?  I've found Brenneke slugs to be very soft in my smoothbore barrel.

No lead...It's a sabot slug...Encased in plastic until it leaves the barrel.

I use the Federal premiums you mentioned above they dropped the two deer I shot with them last year in thier tracks. I've heard nothing bad about these slugs
