Here is what might have happened, the heat from the warmed gun clamped the mag, I had it happend a few times in class.  The remedy is to wipe mags and mag wells down with 100% silicone spray, such as Penray, and let dry.  This helps year-round.  Even then, an occasional strip was needed in cold weather.    Tactical reloading helps, too, as the weight of the unfired rounds assist the mag to get out. Hope this helps.  :D [/b]

:D Heheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheheeheh...I usta love doing it inna winter.  They would freeze thier little butts off.  Jeffs idea should clear the problem that you were describing.  Originally they were designed to not drop free cause of the deep snow in the countries that was going to use them first,if they dropped free, they got lost inna snow.  I like that feature on em.  The other makes are designed to drop free when the mag release is punched, weather they are loaded or not.  They will only come out part way,on the Glock, then have to be stripped from the weapon.   Actually its not a bad idea to use silicone spray on the mag wells on any of the semi autos.  Helps a lot with climate change problems, that and also making sure the mags, and mag well are CLEAN.  Most guys neglect to clean this area, and wipe down the mags after use.   Sounds like a fun time to me.,wish I had ben there.  Stay safe.  King     :-D  :-D  :-D  :-D  :-D
