Old ammo find!
« on: July 10, 2004, 01:00:36 PM »
Picked up some great old ammo today!
Got a box of .25-25 Stevens, one .32 Short RF unopened Win., box of .25ACP Win, box of .38 S&W blanks Win., box of .303 Savage Win.,  all full! Plus one partial box of .38Colt Win.
All are the late 1800's or early 1900's style boxes in two part style. Gave the guy $60 for all, which I thought was a smoking deal! The .25-25S will go well with my Stevens Schuetzen rifle in that caliber!

Lots of interest in milisurp ammo, especially that made by major ammo suppliers like Winchester! The old brass shotshell is a nice display item also. They sure don't come up nearly as often as they used to!

The same person who gave me that brass shotgun shell also gave me a old shotgun reloader too and a lb of powder by hazard powder company.  Supprising the powder was still good. That winchester ammo I have 2 boxes of it.
