Someone posted the idea of using a cheap drill holster for a scoped Contender. Thank you! I was considering paying $50 for a holster and decided to give this a try. $3.99 at Harbor Freight. It works great!

I think I got the pictures uploaded to the members album. They are labeled Contender and chep holster and Contender and cheap holster 2.
Click on album on top of the page. click on members gallery.
Sorry if this does not work,

neat idea, the only thing I dont care about it is, the barrel's muzzle is exposed. If you are not real carefull when you sit down you could damage the crown or get something pushed in the barrel.

That is something to consider. I will either add an extension to this thing to protect the muzzle, or just make sure I don't sit when the gun is in the holster.
thanks
