I like the Federal Premium V-SHOK 40 gr. Nosler Ballistic tip for my .222 Rem. my Mom uses the same but with 55gr. NBT in a .223 Rem(she sits on her porch with a constant watchfull eye) :-) I have used Remington 50 gr Pointed Soft Point with great results and is all I used for many years. The Hornady Moly coated V-MAX should not be overlooked...my Dad always preferred 150gr. PSP 30'06 for as long as I can remember and yes it leaves a hole but he killed more yotes than I have ever heard and seen put together, or ever will probally, and I have taken my fair share of the little wiley dogs...If the poor little critters show themselves during the modern gun portion of deer season they catch a VERY FAST moving 150gr. 28 cal. bullet
