government warning on national news...
« on: February 10, 2003, 05:11:48 PM »
cant help but worry.  the feds are encourageing each citizen to stock up food and get enough plastic and tape to seal up their house.   really makes me wonder what they think might be in the works for us.   i am hoping that they are just trying to come out with some kind of advise to hush critizism that they arent offering guidance.   but it is real scarey;  it seems to me that they are implying an impending biological attack.  it was alot easier to watch the world news before i became a father a year and a half ago.   you see stuff like this and it really makes your guts turn.  watching my family around the house the thing that sticks out is how happy and innocent they are.   and then to think about all the sick, twisted things going on out there; and the people that would celebrate the killing of my family as if it were new years eve.         and even if we roll over iraq as easily as the first time,  ya just know the norht koreans are next.   add all the hollywood gutless to the mix, and the government warning and it really makes a guy worry.     sorry guys,  jsut trying to vent.  going to hit the sack,  after i kiss my sleeping son goodnight.

If they do it themselves, they would be accused of atrocity...it is more convenient to get us to do it...They dont think they can win...just send their undesireables to war to get rid of them.....
....make it count

your comment about the people who would celebrate an american death, even a family, really makes ya think.  it's true.  many truly despise us and everything we're about as Americans.  and it isn't just the iraqis.  do all of these human rights activists really think that if we had a bunch of soldiers captured by bin laden that they would get the same treatment the our guantanamo bay rats are getting.  they wouldn't hesitate to kill every single p.o.w. the second they laid there hands on them.  i have two little ones at home and i don't want chemical agents dropping down on our home.  makes me sick too.

if given the opportunity,  they wouldnt just kill our families.   they would torture, rape, and alot of other sick, twisted things i dont care to think about.   i get to the point where i think that if you havent served you shouldnt be able to vote.   i know that is probably too extreme ( alot of good people out there who by circumstance [not avoidance] havent served ) or the founding fathers probably would have put it in the constitution.   i trust in their infinite wisdom, as they had more forsight than i could ever have.   maybe they just couldnt fathom someone who would be willing to enjoy the freedoms but not willing to fight  for (EARN)them.  what ever the case,   i really think that the gloves should come off, and stay off; in the war on terror.   i say butcher them like they would us. :biggun: live and let live doesnt apply anymore.   i am a peace-loveing father  (that is my role in life now)  but with things going like they are the soldier keeps waking up in me.   god help em if i have to leave my family because of their mickey-mouse garbage.   i serve again it is going to be on my terms.  i would rather stay a father.   but i am scared that these militant punks might take me from that which i enjoy most.   dont even bother praying for the heathens if they do.            time to go see what kind of crap happened in the world today.   (i know,  i am a glutten for punishment)

Robert Heinlein makes a good (well...I think it's good, but it is in a work of fiction. On the other hand, Mike [the computer in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress] calls fiction "not-true data", and uses it.) argument for this very system in Starship Troopers, which was made into a not-very-good movie recently. Get the book; it's better.
Also, I believe that Washington, et al. did understand the reluctance of the ordinary guy to expose his precious hide to extreme discomfort and the attention of rude strangers; they had tremendous trouble with desertion.
I do agree that exposing them to the exact same teatment they mete out to us might be useful...we can attack innocents and religious shrines beause "God wants us to" as easily as they can. I think it might come to that. Anyone for nuking the Kaaba?

I'm not in favor of nuking anything since the wind carries the fallout all over the planet, but nerve gas sounds good.   :-D

neutron bombs are the way to go.   bust a few of them on those pinheads,  sit back a few years and let the buzzards clean up the mess.  then hand it over to the mexicans.   i say the mexicans because they seem to appreciate the usa about as much as us.   at any rate,  quit monkeying around and send them to allah;  in mass.
