What is the difference between the two brands?I mean in a 10 x 42 bino comparison......or a 2.5 x 10 50mm 1" scope?I know swarovski makes/owns Kahles,is there any difference in the quality of product?

Yes they are different.
Check their specs.
Eye relief field of view.
In my opinion Swarovski makes a better bino and Kahles has better riflescopes.
Kahles does not tie up their money in advertising.
True Kahles is owned by Swarovski but Kahles is a different division with different management and product lines.

That Swaro 3.5-10x42 scope is a beautiful scope don't think Kahles makes anything close..I wonder about their warranties sometimes though.

First of all , I'm shopping for a scope for a Browning BAR in 300 Win. Mag. and this website has helped tremendously. But, to answer this question. I was in Bass Pro this week and looking through VX-3's and the associate handed me a Swarovski 3-9x40 (849.00 scope) and the difference between it and the VX-3 was very noticable. It was much crisper. Hope this helps

Are the swarovski 10 x 42 bino that much better than the kahles 10 x 42 's?400.00 better?
