RV;
I've stated before that I've had great luck with the Sierra 170gr. ahead of H-110. The last time I was out with it I was shooting from the bench at 100yds. Ten shots went into 3.3 inches with iron sights that came from the factory. Yes... I know my old eyes are not what they used to be, and I wear glasses. Tried a 4X scope on it one afternoon and grouped around 2 inches also. But took it off when I got home, it just did not handle the same with a scope on it.
You may think that the 170's are too light, but hey, out of my gun they shoot pretty darn good. It's the rifle I'll use hunting this fall.
You might try the new SPEER GOLD DOT. They shoot good out of my revolver and seems to do good out of the FG, but I guess I'm just stuck those 170's. I like them that well.
Hope you find a load for yours, you could even consider the Remington in the 200gr JHP, or the 210gr. JSP, both are available form Midsouth in 100, 500, and 1000.
Good shooting.
