Ruger MkII VT .243 twist rate
« on: June 13, 2004, 07:34:45 PM »
Hello
As I'm sure there are few of you out there that have the VT in 243. Any idea what the twis rate is in that rifle and what kind of loads or bullets does it like. Thanks

1 in 10".  95 grain ballistic tips and 100 grain partitions.   85 grain Speer do well also.

Have a stainless steel 26" VT.  I use 65 grain Vmax loaded with 45grain H380.  3600fps.  Great on groundhogs.
Tomorrow is another day!
