floating questions.
« on: August 24, 2004, 04:43:22 PM »
I have cleaned the bore and hinges with alcohol as Fred M instructed me to do.  I still have a few Rem 100 gr core loct's left but I plan to by some win 80 gr and fed 80 grain I will also try to float the barrel using a business card.  Do I need to put it in front of the lug or behind it?  If all these things don't work the Handi's days are numbered!  Thanks oktx

I put a strip of business card in front and back of the mounting lug. Just make sure that its freefloating the barrel. I mount a bipod on the sling swivel and it seem's to shoot the best like that.  Digger

How many rounds have you shot through it?
God, Family, and guns, in that order!
