Gun Cart question

I am new so bare with me if this is a stupid question. I am thiking of makin a gun cart that looks like an old bank safe. Here is my question. Would the door have to stay open so folks can see that the actions are open or would I be able to shut the door when I wasnt a usin them. It rains at a moments notice and the wind blows somethin fierce too. I was going to make it watertight and sortof tamper proof just in case I have to walk away from it and there are little ones around that get curious sometimes.
I will probably make it either way and leave to door open if I have too. I take pictures when I get it done.

From what I've seen you can close it. I think some guys have an outhouse design, coffin and so on. Remember, there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers and people.

sounds like a great idea, just don't make it too big to transport.
The different looking gun carts are part of the Cowboy style. Can't wait to see yours.
