Can anyone give me any information on the reliability and function of an alchemy arms 45?  I am looking at one, and it looks interesting.

cflier,
Welcome to the forum.
The Alchemy Arms company is located in Port Orchard WA. It seems like they make Auto hand guns in 9mm 40 S&W 45ACP. Don't know much about them..Seems like they got started in about 1999 or some where in that time period. Good luck and stay safe.........Joe......

Looks like their web site is no longer accessable. Wonder if they are still in business? That might infulence your decision to buy one.

Savage,
I think you have some thing there, I would be leary of buying one for fear i might have to eat the thing. I too have looked around and have not found any thing current on them. My advice would be, leave it alone.

I'm not familar with this companies' products. If they are a true 1911 clone, and aftermarket parts will work with them, then I might consider one if the price were around $150 or so. I think the best buy out there in a .45 1911 clone is the RIA. About $300,  I have heard a lot of good things about them. Have fun deciding!
