I went to Gander Mtn looking at hand guns...Do you think $549.99 is in the ballpark for the Ruger Super Red Hawk in 44 mag?

New ones in my area are $500-520.  I have mine for sell for $400 with a holster and extra sights.

Mine cost me $499 before tax.  I've seen them cheaper on some auction sites.  I bought mine on a layaway (layawake) program.  I guess I'd say it seems a little steep, but not unreasonable.  I'd probably look around some, but I'm also a titewad.  Good luck whatever you decide!

Well, now that I know the ballpark that I am playing in I will shop around.  I think I can find it cheaper at the Buffalo Gun Center.  Besides I'd rather support the local businessman.  Thanks for the replies...
