Credit where credit is due
« on: August 24, 2004, 04:54:01 PM »
During a flight to Louisiana to shoot the Southern Nationals in June my Anschutz 1710 was broken (the stock was broken in half).  I went through the damage claim process with the airline fully expecting to be given the run-around.

I am happy to report, however, that Delta Connection has reimbursed me for the cost of a new stock (as quoted by Neal Johnson's Gunsmithing Inc. -- thank you Neal).  The process took just about eight weeks, which is exactly what they said it would take.  There were no hassles or excuses -- they apologized for the damage and sent me a check.  Granted, it shouldn't have happened in the first place, but once it did they made up for it.  Thank you Delta Connections!
