Thanks Bill

Thanks Bill for adding this site and Thanks Rick Teal for letting me know about it!

I have a Entry level Barnett Ranger straight prod 150# crossbow. I have a Cheap Simmons 22 scope on it that works fine. Bolts used are 16 inch and I can use 2117's 2216's or 2219's I make my own bolts out of used arrows I buy at rummage sales or arrows I buy on clearance. I just fletched up 26 bolts last night some were 2219's and some 2117's. The 2117's shoot right on at 20 and at 30 I have to aim 3 inches high for the same impact spot. The 2219's shoot higher for some reason maybe a stiffer spline they shoot right on at 30 if I aim 6 inches low????????? Do not ask me why but that is what happens with the 2 factory 2219's I have. Lost one shot over the target when I forgot they shot high.    Just made up 4 2219's to see if they act the same. This xbow while not expensive shoots as good as my buddies expensive 10 point so I am happy with it.  A lot lighter also.    Some may wonder how I can get by with a cheap Simmons 22 scope on it but this xbow does not have the recoil some of the compound and heavier bows do. It is easy to shoot and accurate so it works for me. First year I had it was last year and killed 2 deer with it so it has made meat.    Looking forward to hearing from other crossbow users here. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
