P/U New P-226 DAK 357 Sig
« on: November 18, 2004, 11:12:40 AM »
Yesterday I was issued my new Sig. Turned in the 12 yr old P-226 9mm.

Shot a box of 357's and them qualified. This is a shootin son of a gun

Kept trying to de-cock prior to placing gun back in holster

Has acc rail so I may look for a light...??? Don't know yet.

Sig made us a deal we couldn't refuse. The Sig Note Sites were going DIM to DEAD. Replace...nearly $100.00. Trade for new gun  $150.00 each.  Done Deal.

We shoot the Speer Gold Dot 125 in the 357 Sig. We did shoot Gold Dot 115 in 9mm +P+. Almost the same ballistics; Almost :P

Nice. That's what I want, but in 40 S&W. I've been drooling over this one for a while now, but I'll have to wait until Christmas comes and goes.

I am a shooter from some long time back shooting a   "BRT"
"Big Round Thing"; Revolvers  The Sig DAK is a lot like shooting a revolver. Instead of going round and round it slides back and forth but the trigger is like a D/A revolverexcept the trigger does not stack!
Good Luck and Happy Holidays.
