Hi,need some help,I have a Custom heavy barrel(tapers to .85) from Fox ridge ordered for my Encore,and I am trying to find out what size rings will fit,so that I can order them.I will be installing a Zeiss 4.5x14x50 scope on the rifle,using the Leupold Dual dovetail base,any help is very much appreciated.

On all my 50mm optics, I have extra high rings.

The Leupold I have on my encore barrel has a 50mm obj. lens and I have medium rings on mine and it clears the barrel. The closer to the barrel the better accuracy.

Too close to the barrel and you will not be able to work the hammer!

Thanks guys the barrel came in today,just 5 weeks from Fox Ridge,I think that is great service :grin: The medium rings look like they will fit fine.Take care.

Ihave a 209x50 encore with tc rings and base i got at bass pro shop in Nashville,my scope is a simmons atec with 44 mm ,and it clears good at hammer and barrel.
