I remember early on in my coyote trapping career when I was my own worst enemy.I always had doubts about what I was doing,is this the correct location?,is my set O.K.?,what about my lure choice? etc.I spent a day and a half with Gary Jepson,he went over my set construction, reviewed location and discussed canine diet changes throughtout the trapping season with a little biology thrown in for good measure.I went home and was confident about what I was doing, yes it was hard work, but I really enjoyed it.The numbers took care of themselves. When I look back I can see I was prisoner to a lot of misinformation.Coyotes got easy to catch. There isn't a day that goes by without me thinking about trapping.
