How many have had a bear come up the tree you were in??
I had this happen a couple years ago. I was about to draw on a 350lber or so and he turned toward my tree started walking toward my tree, I had a bag that I brought my bait in sitting under my tree. He walked over to the tree, messed with the bag for a bit, the I heard his paw hit my tree spike and in 2 leaps he was 1/2 way up. I figured that was far enough and made a mallard feeding chatter (first thing that came to mind) and he dropped to the ground and walked off. Never did get a shot at him. Kind of hair raising though. Must happen quite a bit I would guess.
