Gun return ?
« on: August 28, 2004, 03:05:28 PM »
My son's rifle has play in the barrel as well as a gap between the the barrel and the the breach face.  I was told to return it.  How is the best way to do this ? NEF said not to mark the box as a firearm.  All I have is the box it came in.  I would also like to have the trigger adjusted, how much is this going to cost me?  How Much is the repairs going to cost me? I have owned the rifle over one year.

Wrap the box in grocery sacks (the paper ones). Prices have recently gone up fixing the barrel problem shouldn't cost you. The trigger work is another story. I would go to the H&R websight they should have a price list under the barrel program.  sorry for the nonanswer but hope this info helps.
