What is the parallax free range set at?

With todays high villosity Shotgun and Muzzleloader loads we opted to leave the parallax fixed at 100 yds which makes this scope very versatile. Many of the new rifles (shotguns and muzzleloaders) seem to be far exceeding 100yds so we decided to leave the parallax set at 100yds. When using the circle at shorter ranges (30-40yds) I found that the parallax is minimal.

One piece tube? Ever any consideration of producing fixed power scopes?

This particular model (2-7x32) isnt a one-piece tube although our 3-10x44 Sport Dot is, fixed power scopes are currenlty being considered but havent been produced as of yet. Were open to suggestions which is how we determine the models we produce.

I mostly hunt in the woods and rarely would I have the opportunity to adjust the power on a scope. I have also been witness to POI change with variable scopes as the power is moved up or down from sight in. These were not the el-cheapo scopes. I am also of the mindset that the more features something has the probability that something will go wrong increases. The KISS system I suppose. I like fixed power in the 2.5 to 4 power range. I have tried the large objectives (I think it was a 44) and found I had to adjust my check weld. The, relatively, heavier crosshairs are also nice.

Looks like I might have to invest in that H&R Ultra Slugger 20GA barrel so I have something to mount this new Mueller scope on. I like the red dot for those low light shots...I'm not sure that I would drop $175 for a slug gun scope though... :? It could also use a little more eye relief...3.25" is border line for me. I prefer the 4-5" range.
