Sorry folks that I have not been my usual boisterous self lately but I through my back out the end of July and I just got the results of my MRI yesterday and it’s a bouncing ruptured disc in my lower back. I’m going to talk to the neurosurgeon on the 20th of this month. It sure makes it hard to sit at the computer reading the posts and all. Until I get this back fixed you may not hear from me too much. Keep the swaging up.

I've had several minor strains and that's been painful enough, but a disk going out has to be a lot worse. Sorry that you have to wait so long to see the specialist. Good luck with a hopefully minor procedure and quick recovery. :(

Don't be afraid of the surgery. I had it done about 3 years ago. Its a piece of cake. The worse part is the pre-surgery anxiety. It will probably take a couple of months after the surgery for your pinched nerves to return to normal. The scar is very small.
