Has anyone used Speer GDSP's in a .44 revolver for deer, bear, or elk? How do they compare to hardcast for penetration? Do they expand much? Thanks

The don't expand like most jacket bullets. They can mushroom a bit in the front. Agreat experment is too shoot into wet newsprint to compare. Good bullet.

I've tried them in the 480 I like them so far. Don't own a crono so I can't say what they do for certain, but the recoil is not bad.
