RIG. anyone used it??????

just orderd the 3.75 oz can from brownells along with the RIG rag with RIG already in it. i got the rag so when the RIG weres off in it i'll put a new DAB on it. does it work as good as i've heard?????(rub it on and forget the word rust for the next 50 years.) thanks for any info!!!!

Yes, RIG does work very well at preventing rust........ and so does Vasoline!  Just for the heck of it, give them a try side-by-side and judge for yourself.  One of the tests I heard was done was salt-water submersion and salt-air exposure too.  The best ratings were from RIG and Vasoline ran a close second.

Yes,
My Step Dad used it as far back as I can remember (1940's), and I just picked up on it and have used it my whole life.
I get a kick out of all of the posts on forums about which is the best preservative, all the new stuff, and RIG is as good as it gets as far as I'm concerned.

I've used RIG for 45 years and have never had a speck of rust on any of my guns.  I don't believe you can go wrong with it.
